EP 19: ANGEL INVESTING VIA SYNDICATES WITH ANNIE EVANS & KELLEY ARENA
Annie Evans, Founder of Dream Ventures and Kelley Arena, Founder of Golden Hour Ventures are a groundbreaking duo who co-lead a fundraise accelerator for early stage female founders raising their 1st round of capital. More than 250 women have graduated since launching January 2022 and gone on to raise over $15M. Annie and Kelley have also built an angel community of more than 500 investors (CSuite execs, content creators, founders, strategic experts & operators) who participate in investments via their angel syndicates.
Kelley founded Golden Hour Ventures, with one mission in mind: to Make Women Rich. The goal is to activate a new class of female angel investors, bring women closer to their finances, realize the power of our collective consumption, and divert the flow of venture capital from 98% male-founded companies to…something more equitable.
Kelley has consulted with dozens of brands, and loves helping founders find their voice. She has a portfolio of 23 companies, boasting 21 companies founded by women.
Prior to launching Dream Ventures, a community that connects women to capital through their early-stage accelerator and angel syndicates, Annie co-founded Beautified, a venture-backed geo-located app to find and book on-demand beauty and fitness services. She raised a $1.2 million seed round led by NEA and went on to launch Dream Ventures in 2020 to help women fund & grow their businesses.
Dream Ventures connects female founders and aligned investors to actualize the deal they’ve always dreamed about.
Golden Hour Ventures offers access to capital for women who are building big things.
